Status .50 rifles are based on a single shot action, using the short
bolt principle. The rifle is loaded by removing the bolt, fitting a cartridge
into the shell holder bolt face, then inserting he bolt and cartridge
into the action as a unit.
A muzzle brake is provided which reduces recoil to about that of a .243.
The stock is aluminum and has a bipod fitted.

at 2800 Feet per Second
